HousingWire Names Holly Tachovsky 2019 Woman of Influence

Our very own Holly Tachovsky has been named one of HousingWire’s 2019 Women of Influence. The award celebrates women who have demonstrated leadership and made an impact in the housing industry.

Every year, HousingWire highlights thought leaders in the housing industry who pave the way for other women to follow. Award winners not only push their company forward with innovative products and demonstrated leadership, but also create spaces within the company for community outreach and serve on boards that inform the industry. We’re proud to celebrate Tachovsky who has always been an innovative leader and dedicated mentor in Austin.

“The 2019 Women of Influence represent a selection of the most impactful and inspiring leaders in the housing economy,” said Clayton Collins, CEO of HousingWire. “These leaders are making an impact on every area of the industry: loan origination, technology, marketing, real estate sales, secondary markets and more. Their energy and expertise are fueling their organizations to launch new products, improve lending profitability, sell more homes, and help clients achieve amazing outcomes. I’m honored and thrilled to have the opportunity to work with and get to know many of these leaders.”

Tachovsky founded BuildFax amidst the 2008 recession and built it from the ground up. In the past year she has steered the company to reach several new, important milestones as BuildFax grows at a rapid pace. Just within 2019, Tachovsky has helped BuildFax secure the company’s first patent on one of its highest performing products and oversaw a comprehensive rebrand, all the while maintaining the company’s rapid revenue growth.

Additionally, Tachovsky’s passionate focus on community engagement and company culture has led to BuildFax earning Entrepreneur Magazine’s Top Company Culture award, Austin Business Journal’s Best Places to Work and DMGT’s Community Champions Awards.
