BuildFax Honored for Volunteer Efforts

Daily Mail General Trust (DMGT) has donated $3,000 to a charity of BuildFax’s choice, Habitat for Humanity, in honor of BuildFax winning the DMGT Community Champion Awards. Habitat for Humanity is an international nonprofit organization that supports affordable housing. Donation funds will go directly to Habitat’s home construction and renovation efforts.

The award, which recognizes the good deeds of DMGT portfolio companies and receives more than 100 nominations each year, honored BuildFax’s Data Production team for their active community involvement. The team has donated 180 hours to building homes for families in need, including painting, insulating, laying floors and more.

“Community is at the core of BuildFax and our management provides opportunities for everyone to take part in a great number of community outreach efforts in both our Asheville and Austin offices,” said Michael Collins, Data Analyst and BuildFax Corporate Responsibility Officer.

We at BuildFax are proud to support the volunteering efforts of our employees. Community involvement is an important tenant of BuildFax’s growth as the largest database of property condition and history insights in the United States.

In addition to Habitat for Humanity, the BuildFax team is actively involved in supporting the local community, including RiverLink, MANNA Food Bank, The Impact Hub, Code2College, Tech Ranch, and Sputnik ATX.
