Our very own Holly Tachovsky has been named a 2019 Stevie Female Executive of the Year. The award recognizes women entrepreneurs globally who are blazing new trails and leaving a mark on their organization.
“I’m honored to be recognized by the Stevie Awards, which elevates business leaders across the globe who are dedicated to their company, community, and employees,” said Tachovsky. “It’s a joy to be celebrated among a group of such accomplished women, especially given the focus this award has on giving back to the communities in which these businesses thrive.”
The year 2019 has been a milestone for Tachovsky and the larger BuildFax team. The company, which Tachovsky cofounded in 2008 at the height of the financial crisis, recently celebrated its ten-year anniversary. In the decade since BuildFax was first founded, the company has filled a need in the market by reshaping unstructured property data into market-transforming insights that serve some of the largest insurance and investment firms in the world.
Last month, Tachovsky led BuildFax through another landmark event. Amidst a changing property landscape, Verisk acquired BuildFax as part of its ISO division, a Verisk (Nasdaq:VRSK) business that’s been developing innovative solutions in the property/casualty marketplace for nearly 50 years. Joining with the power and industry leadership of the Verisk brand, the new structure allows the team to build stronger, more impactful services to help businesses minimize risk and maximize value.
As part of the acquisition, Tachovsky moved into a new role as ISO Personal Lines Chief Innovation Officer. We look forward to sharing more in the coming months on what to expect from our work together.
