BuildFax CEO Holly Tachovsky Named Central Texas Woman of Influence

Austin Business Journal (ABJ) recognized BuildFax’s own Holly Tachovsky as a finalist for the 2018 Profiles in Power awards. The award celebrates women who have been influential in Central Texas by blazing new trails and positively impacting their community.

On an annual basis, the ABJ nominates successful business owners who are at the top of their industry, inspiring their community to reach new levels of success and chooses a handful of finalists from that list. This award highlights women who have not only driven company success but have also demonstrated strong leadership skills and prioritized community involvement.

We’re proud to celebrate Tachovsky who has always been an innovative leader and dedicated mentor in Austin. Tachovsky created a – previously nonexistent – class of data in the property data space and then took that idea to market. To date, the company boasts more than 23 billion data points on residential and commercial structures that cover 70+ percent of the U.S. population. And under Tachovsky’s guidance, BuildFax generates 1,000 new property insights per minute on its robust platform.

Not only is Tachovsky a successful business woman, but she is also a relentless advocate for other women entrepreneurs and an active member in the Austin community. Tachovsky is passionate about providing guidance to early-stage startups and mentors for The Impact Hub, Tech Ranch Austin, and Sputnik ATX where she encourages her mentees to tackle hard problems, build authentic relationships, and empower their own teams to build something great. BuildFax is an inaugural sponsor for Code2College and ImpactHub, helping them get off the ground and grow into the influential Austin-based organizations they are today.
