Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Holly is the CEO and co-founder of BuildFax, the only national database of historic construction permit records. Believing that these building permits offer a better way to understand a property's history and current condition, Holly has led her pioneering team to take BuildFax from "a cool idea" to its current industry-changing trajectory. Through her relentless pursuit of customer-focused innovation, BuildFax turned their unique database of raw permits into products that leading insurance carriers and lenders use today to make better business decisions. Under Holly's leadership, BuildFax's building permits database has grown from 0% to 64% national coverage, encompassing more than 5,000 U.S. cities, counties and townships, 80+ million residential and commercial properties including over 6 billion data points on those properties. Prior to BuildFax, Holly co-founded BluePrince, an award-winning, early innovator in online process management and mobile-driven solutions for construction permitting and municipal management. Prior to her entry into entrepreneurism, Holly worked as a business plan analyst for a venture capital company investing in high-tech startups. Holly is a sought after speaker and panelist for industry events across the country, a business advisor to early stage companies, and is active in serving her community. Holly is a married mother of two boys, Cub Scout leader, alumnus of The University of Texas at Austin and bleeds Burnt Orange (Hook'Em!).
